Getting started
Yes. Most new students, including children and adult beginners, start with Noorani Qaida, which teaches Arabic letters, vowel signs, and joined reading from scratch. No prior knowledge of Arabic is required to begin.
Yes. Adult beginners are common, including new Muslims. Lessons are one-to-one, so there is no classroom pressure or comparison with other students, and pace is set around your availability and confidence.
Yes. Tutor gender preference is one of the fields on the enquiry form, and the team matches accordingly based on real availability. See the female teacher page for more detail.
You submit the trial request form, the team reviews the learner's level and preferences, and a suitable tutor is offered a lesson time to confirm. The trial itself is used to assess reading level, comfort with the tutor, and a suggested starting course.
Lessons are arranged around the learner's local time and the tutor's real availability. Because teaching happens across several timezones, most reasonable weekly windows can usually be accommodated, though specific slots are confirmed rather than guaranteed in advance.
Fees depend on the chosen plan, frequency, and subject combination. Current pricing is confirmed directly with our team using the fee request form on the Fees page, in your preferred currency where available.
Parents receive progress communication appropriate to their plan, such as periodic written updates summarizing what was covered, what needs more practice, and a suggested focus for the coming weeks. See Parent Information for full detail.

Trial lessons
Yes. Submitting a trial request does not require any payment details and does not commit you to a paid plan. It is an opportunity for the learner and tutor to meet and for the academy to recommend a suitable starting course.
No. A form submission is an enquiry, not a confirmed slot. Our team reviews the request, checks tutor availability that matches your stated timezone and preferences, and follows up to confirm an actual lesson time.
The current trial offer includes three lessons of 30 minutes each, so the learner and tutor have a genuine chance to settle in before any decision is made about continuing.
A quiet space, a stable internet connection, a device with a camera and microphone, and a copy of the Quran or Noorani Qaida book if the learner already owns one. See our first lesson checklist in Resources for a full list.
The tutor shares an honest assessment of the learner's level and a recommended course and plan. You then decide, without pressure, whether to continue and which lesson plan suits your schedule.

Fees and plans
Current fees depend on the plan, subject combination, and region, and are confirmed directly by our team so you receive accurate, up-to-date pricing in your preferred currency rather than an outdated published figure.
Where pricing has been finalized for a region, fees can be presented in GBP, USD, CAD, or AUD. We do not display invented currency conversions; only confirmed regional pricing is shown once available.
Each plan has its own notice period for rescheduling a class, shown on the Fees page. Provide notice before the session where possible so the tutor's time can be reallocated fairly.
No plan can guarantee a specific outcome. A longer or broader plan provides more structured teaching time, but real progress still depends on the learner's consistency and practice between lessons.

Parents and progress
Younger children generally learn best with a parent nearby during early lessons, helping with focus and short practice between sessions. As confidence grows, many children need less direct supervision, though staying aware of progress remains valuable.
You will receive progress communication appropriate to your plan, summarizing what has been covered and what to focus on next. You are also welcome to ask the tutor direct questions about your child's development.
Tutors are experienced with a wide range of temperaments and adjust pacing, encouragement, and lesson structure accordingly. If a particular teaching style is not working well, tell our team so a different approach or tutor can be discussed.
