Submitting our trial or enquiry form registers your interest; it does not automatically reserve a lesson slot. A member of our team reviews your request and follows up to confirm an actual tutor and time based on real, current availability.
Teacher matching for your child
Matching considers your child's age, personality, and stated tutor gender preference. If the first match does not feel right after a fair trial, tell us directly; this is useful matching feedback, not a complaint we will be defensive about.
Preparation before a session

What to expect during a session
Sessions open with a short review, introduce new material in a manageable portion, and close with a clear practice suggestion. Younger children benefit from a parent nearby, not necessarily participating, but present to help maintain focus during the early weeks.
Practice between lessons

Progress reports and communication
Reporting frequency follows your chosen plan: monthly for Weekend Explorer, every two weeks for Balanced Path, and weekly for Intensive Fluency. Each update names specific strengths and areas needing more practice rather than a vague general comment.

Contact the academy directly through our contact form with specific details about the concern. Concerns are reviewed and, where appropriate, addressed through a conversation with the tutor or a change in matching or scheduling.

Younger children generally learn best with a parent nearby during early lessons, helping with focus and short practice between sessions. As confidence grows, many children need less direct supervision, though staying aware of progress remains valuable.
You will receive progress communication appropriate to your plan, summarizing what has been covered and what to focus on next. You are also welcome to ask the tutor direct questions about your child's development.
Tutors are experienced with a wide range of temperaments and adjust pacing, encouragement, and lesson structure accordingly. If a particular teaching style is not working well, tell our team so a different approach or tutor can be discussed.
