What every tutor is evaluated on before teaching
Subject expertise
Every tutor teaches within the subjects they have been trained and evaluated for, whether that is Qaida foundations, Tajweed, Hifz revision, or Islamic Studies for younger children.
Teaching style and pace
Tutors are matched to a learner's age, attention span, and confidence level. A shy adult beginner and an energetic seven year old need different pacing, tone, and encouragement.
Language comfort
Where a family is more comfortable receiving explanations in a particular language alongside English, that preference is noted before matching so instructions are always clear.
Gender preference
A learner or parent can request a female or male tutor. The request is recorded on the enquiry form and confirmed before the trial lesson is arranged, subject to real-time availability.
Schedule compatibility
Matching accounts for the learner's timezone and preferred lesson windows so sessions land at a realistic, sustainable time rather than a slot nobody can consistently attend.
